Previous editions

Previously named “Forum 5i”, the iForum integrated in 2023 the tech&fest, a new event dedicated to innovation and technology. Since the creation of the iForum in 1998, 410 projects have been presented to venture capitalists. These compagnies have generated more than 4700 jobs.

At least 150 start-ups have raised funds since the creation of this event for an amount of more than 1.5 billion euros.

The 2024 edition of iForum took place on February 1 and 2, 2024 as part of tech&fest.

For this 26th edition, the iForum was transformed to showcase the Grenoble Alpes Territory and its strong innovative ecosystem on a 500m² pavilion, bringing together :

  • 10 projects from the Grenoble Alpes laboratories
  • 22 start-ups selected for iVenture
  • 18 start-ups at the heart of the French Tech Alpes village
  • 60 local start-up supporting structures
  • 1 Fab Lab at the Casemate Nomade for hands-on experience of the innovation creation process
  • A delegation of the Skale2CT Interreg project, in which Grenoble Alpes Métropole has been participating since March 2023.

18 other local start-ups were showcased in the French Tech Alpes village: Carbonable, Sysalp, Diamsens, Alternativ Technology, Komugi, Monoceros, Losonnante, Toploc, Yama cms, Hbblab, Heliup Solar, Nexteneo, Etricks Innovation, Drillight, GammaO, BeJuicy et DigiMan.


The Casemate Nomade’s Fab Lab also set up shop at the iForum, with five workshops featuring 3D printers, cutting machines and various materials… to show that design and manufacturing are open to all, whatever the visitors’ level of education, technical skills or dexterity.


The iForum also welcomed a delegation from the Skale2CT interreg project, in which Grenoble Alpes Métropole has been participating since March 2023.

The project organized a workshop dedicated to Grenoble’s healthcare sector, a conference, and start-up pitches on the iForum pavilion.
